Volver, Breath of new Light.

During the 53rd Salone Internazionale del Mobile, and in conjunction with Fuorisalone, the Italian lighting design company Terzani will exhibit their Volver pendant light in the window of Tosca Blu, a boutique located at the intersection of Italian design and Made in Italy fashion. Volver, designed by Andrea Bassetti and Diego Panzieri of the multidisciplinary Studio 14, is an eclectic and modern light that combines thin, nickel-plated chains with the latest LED technology. Adding a breath of new light, Volver will showcase the new Spring / Summer 2014 Tosca Blu collection.
The presentation will take place at Via Montenapoleone, 25 in Milan from 8 - 13 April.
Characteristic of Terzani’s creations, Volver breaks the boundaries between art, luxury and design. Terzani is known for its melding of ancient techniques with cutting-edge technology, and for taking a meticulous approach to working with glass and metal. With Volver, this approach results in a stunning, sculptural design.Since its founding in Florence, Italy in 1972, Terzani has worked to meld traditional Italian craftsmanship with modern technology to create lighting that blurs the lines among art, luxury and design. Founder Sergio Terzani and CEO Nicolas Terzani have furthered their experimentation in lighting design with the creation of the Terzani Lab, where new materials, techniques and ideas can be developed and tested.
And Terzani continues to commission designs from renowned artists including Dodo Arslan, Nigel Coates, Luca Matorano and Mattia Albicini and Studio 14 who all add their unique voices contribute to Terzani’s extensive collection. With their most recent and highly celebrated collection, Terzani continues to build from its position as an industry leader to focus on new ideas and redefine the way luxury lighting is made.
